Information You Submit
Search forms send the name, phone number, or address entered to the outside provider that supplies results. Those queries are not copied to our own servers. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them to answer your message.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create ordinary server logs containing an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. Aggregate log data helps maintain the service and show which resources visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where applicable.
How We Use Information
Collected information supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell visitor lists nor create individual user profiles.
Links to Other Websites
Links lead to Mercer Island and King County offices, Washington agencies, library collections, and third-party search tools. Information entered on an outside service is controlled by that service's privacy policy, not this one. Sponsored search results are also supplied by a separate company.
Who May Receive Information
Hosting and support vendors process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. Data may also be disclosed when valid legal process requires it; otherwise, visitor information is not shared.
How We Protect Your Data
An encrypted connection serves the site, and server logs are retained only as long as needed for the stated purposes. Because visitors do not create accounts, we hold no site password or user profile for them.
Visitors Under 18
The service is meant for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if a minor submitted information so it can be deleted.
Your Privacy Choices
Rights to access, correct, or delete personal information may depend on the data and the law that applies. Washington's My Health My Data Act, chapter 19.373 RCW, provides rights for covered consumer health data, including access and deletion, but excludes publicly available government and media information from its definition. We can check our contact mailbox and server logs for a request sent through the Contact page. Records held by Mercer Island, King County, or Washington agencies remain under the custodian's control, so requests about those records must go to that office.
